Kathie Muir first worked for Australian unions as a trade union banner artist in the mid-1980s. Later Kathie moved to the Centre for Labour Studies at the University of Adelaide where she became a researcher and senior lecturer specializing in labour and social movements’ use of media in campaigning. Kathie is also the author of Worth Fighting For: Inside the 'Your Rights at Work' Campaign, an incredible account of the labour movement campaign that changed the 2007 federal election in Australia.
